Our Beliefs

We believe:

  • The Bible, consisting of both the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God for thethe-cross salvation of mankind and is the final authority for all Christian faith and life.
  • In One God, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He was crucified, died on the cross, buried, and arose from the dead on the third day. That Jesus Christ ascended into heaven, where at the right hand of the Father, He is now our Intercessor and Advocate.
  • The Holy Spirit, who glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ, convicts men of sin, and regenerate the believing sinner. That the Holy Spirit indwells, instructs, comforts, teaches, and empowers the believer for godly living.
  • That man, created in the image and likeness of God, sinned and is therefore lost, and only through the regeneration by the Holy Spirit is salvation obtained.
  • That faith in the blood of Jesus and His resurrection is the only ground for salvation and justification of the believer, and the receivers of Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and are therefore children of God.
  • That Holiness is God’s standard of living for His chosen people.
  • In the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongue as the Spirit gives utterance.
  • In water baptism by immersion after repentance and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Savior, and is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life.
  • The Lord’s Supper which is a memorial service setting forth in sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus Christ; and only true believers should share in it.
  • In the pre-millennial, and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • In the bodily resurrection of all the dead; of the believers to eternal life with Christ and of unbelievers to punishment and eternal damnation.
